Omens Bite picks up right where Spells Trouble left off with the sisters trying to figure out how to close the gates that they, as Goodeville Witches, are the guardians of. Things don't go well for the twins because they're not getting along or working together, which makes their gate guarding job a little more difficult. Hunter gets help from her newly chosen goddess Amphitrite and Mercy's got Xena's help, which you know we love because Xena, the sometimes cat, sometimes person, always catperson, is the best. Amphitrite though... it's hard to say. Is she really helping Hunter or is she working on her own agenda? All we know is that there is a lot of bad stuff happening in town and in the underworlds and the sisters aren't able to stop any of it individually. We were joined for our game of Would You Rather by Superfan Coral. She's been with us for a long time, and we were very excited to have her join us FINALLY! We spent a good deal of our WYR time talking about Xena eating tuna sandwiches and tuna on pizza and canned tuna and tuna in pouches. We also talk a little about what we hope will happen when this trilogy wraps up with book three, Hex You, out in 2023. Here's a recording picture. Check out Coral's wall.
