In our episode this week, we discussed the fifth book in the Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood/Southern Vampire series Dead as a Doornail by Charlaine Harris.
Sookie's brother Jason is now a pantherman and has completed his first change as a partial shifter at the full moon. Shortly after this, other shifters in the area and around the way start getting shot, and everyone thinks Jason is responsible. Sookie has to help him clear his name (and she does so by getting shot herself), but she also has to help Alcide and the Shreveport werewolves determine who their new packmaster will be and deal with her house being burned down, a new angry vampire and lots and lots of guys who crave her attention. Part of the werewolf packmaster issues involve lots of licking, which is what we were talking about when this picture was taken and where the title of this post comes from. It's ridiculous, but we're always ridiculous, so you shouldn't be surprised.
