In our episode this week, Claire and I talk about one of her favorite books from her formative years... Horrorscope by Nicholas Adams. Since the book is from the 90s, we decided to wear 90s hair and makeup. Here's a picture.
This book is a ton of fun and I was able to surprise Claire with the background information that I found. This book is in post-production as a movie! The plot isn't exactly the same, but it's close. So what is the plot of the book?
Robyn writes the horoscope for her school newspaper and has been teamed up with Jeff to create a science fair project out of it and if she doesn't, she's going to fail her class, but that's not the worst thing that could happen. Someone is using her horoscopes as a plan for murder! When she predicts a bad day, it ends up being a really bad day. Can Robyn, her best friend Debi and Jeff, who Robyn may or may not like-like, figure out who the killer is? Could it be one of them?! There are a LOT of deaths based on the Zodiac and one of them, our favorite one in fact, involves a forklift.
