In our latest episode, Claire and I talked about Manners and Mutiny, Finishing School book the fourth, by AND WITH Miss Gail Carriger. That's right! There's a bonus episode! It's been a little while since we talked to Miss Gail and we were excited to have her back, after all, she's the reason why Claire and I are friends to begin with! Isn't that special? Here's a picture.
In our main episode, we talked about the book, of course, which was all about how Sophronia and her friends finish Finishing School. And they also finished the Finishing School... meaning there is no more school left by the end of the book. It's not necessarily Sophronia's fault, but it kind of is. Picklemen have infiltrated the school and want to use it to control all the mechanicals in London to create an army, and Sophronia can't have that, so she destroys the school. It's the perfect ending and most everyone lives happily ever after, which is delightful. Of course, you should read the book, check out our summary and listen to our episode for all the details.
